Over the last century, people’s eating habits have changed a lot. Technology has also contributed to the changes in consumer preference as their dependence on technology has moved them to do everything online including getting cooked meals delivered to their doorstep. In 2018 PickMe decide to launch their delivery food delivery service call PickMe Food

The Problem Space

There is a huge gap between the consumer and restaurant partner to deliver the food doorsteps. to accelerate the sale and consumer can experience the ordering food experience to their doorstep faster

The Solution Space

On this on-demand food delivery Solution will help to deliver food faster to cousmers doorstep. this solution will allowing to cater customers as per their time and convenience. PickMe Food brings the restaurant to customers’ mobile phones allowing to increase sales.

The Challenge

The biggest challenge was to handle the food delivery app withing the existing PickMe ride healing app its self, and also give the user better experience when ordering food. I Design the app to make an order should be as simple clicks on the app, also it should be easy to understand and informative about the options and choices the users have.

Designing the Agile way

The product was meant to reach the users as soon as possible since this was the first version of the product and the evolving mobile world demanded a need for it. Hence, the agile methodology was defined to bring out the product quickly. Each step of the process was very quick and at its best pace contributing to the development of the product. The agile methodology process is as shown below

User Research

When it comes to user Research I started to do market research on how other on-demand food delivery services are working on in terms of progress and user experience point of view how they are handling. I interviewed internal stakeholders about what was working well and what could be improved. We held team workshops and then created project goals, ways of working and delivery plans, after discussing previous project experiences we agreed on working in an Agile, scrum dynamic between the product, design and development teams.
